Greetings and Happy New Year from River Bend Resort!

As we venture into 2011, we would like to wish you and your family a healthy and prosperous new year. River Bend is looking forward to bringing you another year of fun, relaxation, and memories to share. Although it is cold outside now, we can’t help but look towards the summer. In this mailing you will find the summer schedule for the park so you can begin planning your weekends with family and friends. Keep in mind that this is the basic schedule for the spring and summer. Many other events will take place during these weekends as well. As more things are added to the schedule, we will post them on the website at www.rbresort.com. Be sure and look on the website now for our upcoming events this winter, including the January 15th Snow Ball Party and the January 29th Roller Skating Outing. Please call 920-261-7505 ext.13 for more information regarding these events.

River Bend has transformed the house on the hill into the “River Bend Lodge,” (see enclosed flyer) which can be rented out during any part of the year beginning January 1st. A few of the features of the lodge are; sleeping for up to 14 guests, direct TV, business center with internet, full kitchen and laundry facilities, 2 full bathrooms, fireplace, large outdoor patio and more! So tell your family and friends to leave the tents and trailers at home. They can now enjoy the park with all of the comforts of home.

River Bend is in marketing mode right now. We recently sent out thousands of pieces of mail to generate camping interest for the upcoming summer. We begin taking reservations on January 1st for the 2011 camping season. Help us pack the park by spreading the word that we are taking reservations early. Keep in mind that you, the members, can be our best source of advertising. The Camping and RV Trade Shows will begin in the middle of January and run through the end of March. A few of the large shows for our area are the Madison RV Show (February 4th – 6th) and the Milwaukee RV Show (February 24th – 27th).

Enclosed in this mailing you will find a form for convenience billing. This form should be filled out and returned to the Resort, Attention: Kris. Please note that you need to fill out the form with any updated information and return it as soon as possible. If you are currently using our convenience billing and do not have any changes to report, you do not have to submit a new form. If you use the monthly coupon books for your payments, they should arrive next week. If there are any mistakes with your books, please call the office to have them corrected immediately. The first payment needs to be made by January 20th. All other payments will need to be made by the first of the month. Again, we would like to thank all of the members who prepaid their 2011 dues in advance.
